Thanx for the cool Webinar eyeon, really loved it! ;)

Here are some demo clips i created using the Replicate3D tool for that session.
And some of the comp files ( still got to clean then up abit  ).
Oh and PM me or send me a email if you are also interested in one / any of my Dailies project,
I would be glad the share them too. :)

I will update this thread with all the clips and files and will try to explain the best i can if there are any questions.
In Fusion they are many ways to kill a cat , .. yeah that too! .. to create stuff, so these demos where made while
experimenting & learning and they are not a final product. Thats why the comps are abit messy.   ;)

So, here we go.
In this comp i´m using CoordTransform3D modifier to make the Camera jump to different positions on the
replicate 3d tool ( with abit of Offset ) creating a kinda jump cut effect.
1. Jump cut effect

* Raf´s Krokodove plugin is needed
Attached File  FU_Rep_A.comp   54.55K   37 downloads

2. Jump cut effect

* Raf´s Krokodove plugin is needed
Attached File  FU_Rep_B.comp   72.99K   37 downloads

I didn't catch the webinar, but I would love to study some of your comps. I still have a lot to figure out with the text tool and all those modifiers.
Awesome stuff Dunn!

Thanx Joël! ^_^

3. Jump cut effect (Particles + Forces used for Replicate3D. Destination )

Attached File  FU_Rep_C.comp   52.03K   30 downloads

4. Attaching those Line thingys on the Text3D outline ( it's kinda heavy when the step is down to 1,
so better test with a higher step like 500 and then render with 5 or lower )

Attached File  FU_Rep_D.comp   22.28K   39 downloads

I would love to know how you motion graphics guys do anything matching to audio in Fusion. I've done my share of motion graphics in AE over the  years. I just tried my first little intro animation using some duplicate3D, and other coolness, but not having access to the audio as I'm pulling sliders and moving things is awful. I have the audio in a saver node, so i can go back to the timeline to see my waveform, but that means I need to always select the saver node to have it display correctly.

I maybe be wrong, or ignorant of Fusion, but  it seems like having the audio waveform display throughout all  tabs ( flow, timeline and spline) would be a must.

Also, I feel like it would help to have some representation of keyframes of a selected node in the frame range bar, kinda like you have in 3D apps ( well in softimage at least.)

Lastly, it might be nice to have audio able to scrub with some key combination.

If any of you Fusion motionographers have some tips or secrets, please share!

Hey Joël, i haven´t used sound in fusion because of that same reason..
l´m always lucky to cut the audio to the video and do time remappings if needed ^_^
But something like this would be cool. >> https://vimeo.com/20968056
And the Progressive Keys script does a pretty great stuff! ;)
