Macro To Modify All Passes Available In An Exr Loader?

I watched a video from CMI where they created a macro that would take AO, shadow, reflection, etc. passes from tif files and allow the user to quickly modify the levels of all the passes and output the 'final' result.

I'm hoping there is a way to create something vaguely similar for an exr loader.

Instead of having to create multiple loaders of the same exr for each pass, map the exr channels for each loader, deal with the 'post-multiply by alpha' for each loader ...

It would be great if I could feed a loader of an exr into a 'macro', and have the macro setup so that I could adjust the levels of each pass, maybe apply color correction, etc. for each pass, and have an output with 2.2 gamma applied for the 'final' output.

In the CMI macro, the different passes had their inputs labeled on the control's arrows (so it was easy to connect the correct pass' tif file to the proper input), but didn't have any of the passes labeled in the controls property display for the macro. Each pass got an apply mode and a blend slider, but they weren't labeled.

Is this possible with Fusion 6.1? To create a macro or Fuse that would enable me to quickly drag an exr sequence to Fusion, connect it to this macro or fuse, and then immediately have controls for modifying the passes in different ways?

Has anyone created something like this?

In my fantasy world, it would be setup for an exr create by Lightwave and exrTrader.

you can build your setup once an create a macro from it

but fusion still only see/uses 15 channels so if you have more then you still need more loaders and then you cant create a macro with only 1 input you would need more inputs

but i personally dont like the idea to put all into a black box. i'm more a fan of a setup which is more flexible and gives me more control

so i would build a script which creates the setup for all the passes you have and then have all the controls visible inside the flow, so i can adjust everything to my needs.

That sounds like a great idea!

Do you have any examples of scripts to create controls?

Would be great if it could create the loaders already setup for the exr sequence, with 'post-multiply by alpha' checked and different passes mapped to RGB values.

Thanks!
