Is there a way to get the Aspect Ratio of a tool with a simple or normal expression?
I want a texttool to use the same size as an input.

You can use such an expression applied to Text.PixelAspect:
Point(<Tool>.XScale, <Tool>.YScale)
Point(<Tool>.XScale, <Tool>.YScale)

Thank you very much Gringo!
Actually I had to use the Input but anyhow it worked.
Point(<tool>.Input.XScale, <tool>.Input.YScale)
How did you find this out? Is there some kind of reference besides the one on VFXPedia?

Ah, yes, "Input" or "Output" should have been there, sorry

I see Stefan.
Would be nice if we could add suggestions to existing pages. Makes not sense to have multiple sites for Simple Expressions, nah?
I mean if I helped eyeon if we create something like Simple_Expressions_Tips I would consider it.
Maybe a little guideline on how and what to add to vfxpedia was handy?! I just don't want to overdo it and reduce the quality of the resource.
Any thoughts?

well, there's a discussion page for every wiki page. you can use it to brainstorm or suggest things. There's a lot of hidden information in this forum (Gringo made a seperate topic just to link to these gems) that should also reside on vfxpedia in my opinion.
