So it is a non-linea editing app, that took over from the old and now defunct Velocity software.

The license is US$1500.00 to buy new. ALl information can be found here at http://www.ivs.it/IndexEng.htm

I will let it go for US$750.00 (that's basically the dongle) or will consider trades such at Fusion Render nodes if anyone has any spare, or something similar.

The software works almost identically to Velocity, though there have been a fe changes etc, but it looks the same and works the same. It has it's own character generator for example.

I decommissioned my old Deskstation Raptor DEC Alpha and finally got around to pulling the DPS/PVR card set from it. It has the daughter card (for both input and output) as well as both cable sets. I used it with Speed Razor and Lightwave many years ago. When I stopped using the system, the PVR was working.

It's free to anyone who might have a need for it.

Oh, and I have:

1. DEC Alpha CPU / motherboard / RAM if anyone needs spare parts to keep an old Alpha system up and running.
2. Adaptec AHA-2940UW SCSI controller card (PCI slot)
3. Turtle Beach Monterey Multisound audio card with the Midi daughter card (ISA slot)
4. 3 x 9gig SCSI Barracuda drives (work great with the PVR)

i have a full Version of Fusion 5 to with the complete Box tosell.
I put the downloaded update 5.1 on cd to the Box.
The Box comes with the handbook,the USB dongle, the programm cd and a dvd with tutorials and so.


I think eyeon want to have about 200 $ to switch the license and i want to have 2000 Euro plus about 40 Euro for shipping, depend on where i have to ship.
So i want about 2735 $(depend on the dollar/euro proportion) so you can have the full Version for about 3000$ instead of the $4,995.00 wich eyeon want.

Two pieces ST318404LW drives. These two drives are currently in my Reality,
work fine, are under Seagate Warranty for approximately another year (one at
11 months, one at 16 months). $120 each, or $220 for the pair, plus actual
shipping from zip 90004. These have the 68 pin wide connector and so don't
need any adapters, but do need a cable with external termination (as do all
newer 68 pin drives).

One ST318437LW drive. Slightly better specs than the ones above, but only one
available, and the warranty expired about a month ago. Guaranteed not to be
DOA, and if anything goes wrong with it in the first 30 days, I'll take it
back. $100 plus shipping from zip 90004. This has the 68 pin wide connector
and so doesn't need an adapter, but does need a cable with external

I gave up on the 'broker' I had trying to sell my D75 on ebay and took it back. I had an ex-Sony service tech here in Dallas take it apart and check it out. It's in really good shape. He fixed a few roller issues and gave it a clean bill of health. Head hours counter is out (battey expired), but the signal is flat and very clean.

I'd like to get $7500. (US) for the unit, but I'm flexible. This is the Sony/BTS BetaSP recorder/player/editor that takes digital video (SDI) in and out and records in analog BetaSP format. Component video is also available as output signal. (NTSC)

Additional details on request.

I'm one lucky SOB. My wife won a brand new never been used VT-3 last week as a door prise at NAB. I already have one and don't need two of them. I've been trying all week to figure out how to use two of them, but I don't want to expand my business. So, I'm contemplating putting it up on the auction block. But before I do, I'm offering it here for sale so that it gets used by someone who will do more with it than make home movies. This is the full blown VT-3 from NewTek that includes the hardware card, TED (the NLE), Aura VT Paint, Lightwave 7.5 (full version dongled to the card), VT-CG, and the whole list of studio in a box software devices. It retails for $2,995. I'm willing to sell it for a little less. Make me an offer.

PS. At the same party, I won the 'Short Cutting Board', A color key coded key board that has all the keyboard shortcuts for TED printed on the keys. This keyboard is black with of course color coded keys. I'll include this with the VT3.

Thought I'd ask this knowledgable group about these three camcorders.

The usage is in a church - mostly shooting speakers, sometimes recording to DVD rather than miniDV and probably needing some sort of rear conversion to make this easier for novices to track speakers.

I'd need to know that the camcorder can run without shutting down when not recording...or at least that there is a trick to use to keep it running AND outputting video.

The distance from the speaker is 60-80 feet.

Price is not the issue (although it might be a low priority factor) since all these are relatively close in cost.

I'd appreciate hearing your stories and particularly any comparision experiences.
